Think gray, for some reason Deer will not eat gray plants. Lamb's ear is a nice plant to put near the stone wall it loves heat and will grow over the edges and will come back every year. Also some Digitalis purpurea (foxgloves) would give you some vertical color and will reseed. Lavender is also a safe bet with the deer, also aguga for another ground cover. These are all plants the deer will not eat... belive me with a herd of 20 deer that drove us out of where we used to live I consider myself an expert on deer... not by choice.

Great suggestion Lisa. Thank you. I planted Zinnas in the past but I planted seed and they did not come up and never gave them a second chance. I will plant them indoors this time as starts. I hope to take another picture in the summer and post it.
That looks great. Thank you for sharing. i am looking for a few bushes in the front of my house. I love planing perfusion (drawf zinna) they bloom all season, and the more you cut flowers to bring in the more they bloom.
Love the Christmas tree idea for Willis. Don't know if Devon would agree...although she has to have a fabulous sense of humor to be with Willis for so long! LOL Sheron - the photos would win! Hee hee heee!
Paul saw the new garden area I tilled. Wish…
Very beautiful Karen. This may seem funny but you will never guess where my appreciation of the harp was born.
I hope you enjoy this link, and be sure that I very much liked your video.
