Dana Anderson Enjoying the visits of a large Piliated Woodpecker

My husband is an excellent carpenter and he builds wooden woodpecker feeders that are virtually starling and grackle proof and cedar bat houses for friends and family. We have a couple of large Piliated Woodpeckers that love to frequent our special feeder. I make a homemade "suet" feed to stuff into it that the woodpeckers absolutely love.
