The Sassafras is a medium sized tree that normally grows about 30 to 50 ft high. Small trees like crabapples, serviceberry, flowering cherry, etc only grow about 20 to 30 ft high. Large trees like oak, hickory, Sugar maple, beech, etc grow abot 50 to 100 ft high.
