Sunshiny Days

Hi Everybody thanks for visiting my page! We have finally been getting some *SUNSHINY* days here in NEPA. So I get to be outside walking thru the garden, seeing maybe what needs to be deadheaded or to see things in full bloom that are just *SPECTACULAR*. Or maybe watching the Tufted Titmice feeding their young, again *SPECTACULAR* or watching "Chippy" and his family that live in our workshop running on top of our fence, I always thought chipmunks stayed on the ground. There are so many beautiful things to see and smells in the air, it just brings my senses alive.

"Lucky ol' sun aint got nothing to do, but roll around Heaven all day."

I'm very grateful to have all of these beautiful flowers and the birdies too! I'm also very grateful for being able to see, and *APPRECIATE* the beauty that surronds us! Judi

Good morning from sunny but cold Ohio! How are things in Pennsylvania? I was just thinking this morning about some of the folks on garden index and wondering how things are going. I am sure it is just as cold there as it is here today. Doesn't it seem like our growing season is over way to fast? But I still like to check out my gardens and feed the birds. I was wondering how Rufus is doing and if he has finally been "released" from all his restrictions. Have a Merry Christmas and stay warm?

You have added some great pictures to your site. Love them. Can you believe that we are on the tail end of summer. So bittersweet. I love fall but I am always sad to see the veggies dry up! Still getting lots of tomatoes but that will end soon. But I must say that I am looking forward to all the fall colors.

How is sweet Rufus? My girls are doing great. They actually don't like the hot humid days so they are enjoying our weather lately. They actually love the snow rather than these hot humid days. They get crazy when there is snow on the ground.

Hope all is well in Pa.

Thank you.. I think I need to move it. It gets sun, but Hot TX sun and some of the leaves burn. Also ITs under a shrub Tree,,, I think it would be better off somewhere else, it should be more established now. Thank you

Hello Judi, this is Ashley, Cleve's daughter. She is back in the hospital and wanted to let you know that she didn't forget on the money order. I am actually going to get it and mail it, but I couldn't find the box with your return address on it. If you could please forward to her email acidburn70@msn.com so you don't have to post it here. I will get it mailed tomorrow morning.

aww Maggie is the name of my kitty! i like having my baby foster kitten under the hydrangea. Since he never got to the point where he could be adopted, then his ashes/body staying with me keeps him in the family.

Hi Judi, so sorry I haven't sent you the check and the feeders yet. I was in the hospital for a bit, had a really bad reaction to some antibiotic that I took. I thought it was my heart(have a pacemaker at my young age, 39) felt like a heart attack. Thank God it wasn't and it was just a reaction to the meds. Then there was a problem with my computer and internet, that was just fixed today, my pc isn't fixed yet, borrowing a laptop to check emails and such. At least I have my phone back, seemed like forever for those guys to come and fix it!! I will get these things packed for you and send it off!! Oh, by the way, looks like only one is going to make it. The little purple one is all brown, and there is one following suit. I think it's the red one that is sprouting, I am babying it so much!!

Good morning, Judi! Your flowers are looking spectacular. I love going out to my gardens and seeing how things change. We are gone for 3 days this week and my how it changed in 3 days time. Actually we were in your beautiful state in the Laurel Highlands. The views from some of the mountains were spectacular. But the highlight was the Frank Lloyd Wright house called Falling Waters. It was great and the day we were there was perfect weather.

Wondering how Rufus is doing with his long recuperation? We have had rain for the last 3 days here. What about your "neck of the woods". I hope it clears up because we want to take the grandsons to the balloon launch in Canton for Hall of Fame week.

Diane, sorry for not making my message more clear - my reminder was about those shrubs that need to be scaled down and in my region (zones 5 & 6) the buds for the next season form on new growth in August so cutting the brunches after July would have…

Sheryl, that shouldn't be a problem, I have a seed feeder in close proximity and the humming birds seem happy enough to share. They just seem to perch on the tiny twigs where the big guys cant get to. Chech the surronding territory, perhaps someone…
