hello all, just about ready to put my seedings out. started cuks, yellow squash, pumpkins, and acorn and they are all about the size of the plants at the greenhouses. also have marigolds, morning glory and moonflowers to put out. i have a bout 5 col…
peas are starting to sprout outside, pumpkins and zuchinni have their true leaves, few more weeks before they can go out.
the seeds sprouted, well most of them. still waiting on a few hollyhock to come up. all the veggies are looking good. i have them under lights right now and will put in bigger pots soon. have to wait another month to put the squash in the ground. me…

berry bushes.
we got our blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry bushes today. we ordered them from our county conservation club. looked them over and they seem healthy. 3 of each if im not mistaken. hopefully i will get them planted by wed. she also got 5 pink lilac bushes... where will those go? lol im sure ill find a spot some where. not like the bushes we bought from lowes last year. those had blooms on them and we got quite a few blueberries. these look more like blueberry sitcks. lol oh well a few more yea… Continue

starting
got the yard raked, and a blister to prove it. crocus' are in bloom, the perennials are turning green. still trying to get a chance to start some veggies and herbs. cant put them out till the end of may so i should be ok. lost 2 columbine but 1 is doing well. tulips, aubrieta, black eyed susan, creeping phlox, hollyhock, all doing well. jacobs ladder is starting to come up too. cant wait!

Well I have several sources of water, 3 bird baths and our waterfall in our pond. Never had this problem before. I have always had hummers. Just wondering if the winter weather we had messed them up. Oh well maybe next year.

delegating thats an interesting idea. the onlyone to delegate to is hubby and i know what he will say.
Crazy rainstorm last night, ripped down half the ivy on the wall. Had to cut it down, so I figured what the heck I'll collect snails in my garden. Armed with chopsticks (they make it way easy to gather up tiny guys under plants if you are profficent…
Love this flower. Never was able to grow it though. Thought it was called queen Anns Lace. I think it adds charm to the garden.

Sheryl, that shouldn't be a problem, I have a seed feeder in close proximity and the humming birds seem happy enough to share. They just seem to perch on the tiny twigs where the big guys cant get to. Chech the surronding territory, perhaps someone…
