Hey William! The figs on my tree are sort of blushy-pale...not dark. But they are sweet! Yeah it's hard to leave a fig tree...fruiting plants that last from year to year become your friends, don't they? What grows good for you there in OK?

Thank you Freddy. I have been trying to do that all week and finally got to him late yesterday. He gave me all June bearing berries and said that's all that was on the list. I want to have an everbearing berry so I guess I will go with the Ozark Beauty. And the Allstar June bearing berry.

William, call your county extension office, ask for fact sheet 6214, Growing Strawberries in the Home Garden. It will list all the varieties for here, how to grow them and when they produce. Hope this helps you.

If it ever warms up to where my bones can handle it outside I will pull some weeds out of my beds to get ready for spring planting. Then I want to get out in the nut orchard and dig about 20 holes for planting Chestnut trees.

Greenhouses are great; it just depends how warm you need to keep them. Give me a shout sometime if you need to discuss anything.

Diane, sorry for not making my message more clear - my reminder was about those shrubs that need to be scaled down and in my region (zones 5 & 6) the buds for the next season form on new growth in August so cutting the brunches after July would have…

Sheryl, that shouldn't be a problem, I have a seed feeder in close proximity and the humming birds seem happy enough to share. They just seem to perch on the tiny twigs where the big guys cant get to. Chech the surronding territory, perhaps someone…
