Thanks for all the advice everyone, but all six plants expired! I got them from a nursery with a one year guarantee though, so I'll be giving it another shot ... I've got the beds all ready and a friendly hawk hangs in the cemetery across the street…
Go to http://www.seedsavers.org/ ... THE authority on saving seeds! I learned how to ferment tomato seeds from them and my germination rate went up dramatically! Basically, you take the seeds and pulp from VERY ripe tomatoes, put it in a jar, cover…

Hi, I just joined this site, so I'm reading comments from zone 4. I live in north central wis, but consider it a zone 3/4 here. the only things blossoming today are tulips and daffs, but things should be popping soon. Love your little blue flowers.
I love your photos, you have inspired me to take more garden photos, and maybe enter some local contest. My neighbors moved here 5/6 years ago from LaCrosse and she has a beautiful garden. Thanks for inviting me to be your friend. After the weekend I will try to work on a photo album for you to see my stuff, we have only been in this house 7 yrs. and we have done alot of modifications. And we have many plans in the works for this year. I have my grandkids alot, and we r going to a Brewer's game on Sat. so my pc schedule is limited this week, but I will pay more attention to this site, now that I have seen your pics. They are AWESOME!!!!!

Paul saw the new garden area I tilled. Wish…
