Last year was the first year for my perenial geraniums (thanks Diane for the proper wordage). They are just beautiful and spread nicely but have not taken over (yet). I have not cut them back and probably won't this year at least. I'll be curious to…
Linda, never tried planting them in the ground, except I do have wild geraniums which come back year after year, they get pretty purple flowers and are still in bloom now.

Betty - what type of cover?
Linda, I, myself, have had no luck overwintering the plant itself so this year I took cuttings and rooted them in vermiculite and sand mixture and stuck them in the shed. Hopefully this will work and I will have my geraniums come to life next spring…
