Hey there Hjordis, Santa Rosa Beach is located between Destin and Panama City. I live close to the beach and the Live Oaks seem to be very hardy in this area. Thanks for the information.
David
Does anyone have any connections on where I might be able to purchase inexpensive live oak trees. Am looking to get a group of homeowners in my neighborhood to plant in the front of our new paved road to add some shade here.
Beautiful! I love passion flowers. We are zone 7 and we can grow a few varieties here. My neighbor had them covering her fence and almost lost all of them this past winter, but a few are coming back.
I have had a pond for quite some time and wondering what type of pump is the best to use since I have had a number of them burn out that I have bought from Lowe's

Yes David, I can wholesale. There is lots of room for profit with the liquid inputs. The IdeaL GroTowers pricing is tighter. I may be able to sell the units to you for $85 each on a quantity purchase plus shipping and I really believe they could be retailed at between $140 and $160. Let me know if this is of interest to you. Thanks. dave

Hi David,
I am retailing the vertical grow system for around $120.00 but will sell to my new gardenIndex friends for $95 plus shipping. This unit includes 5 durable, UV protected grow pots (stone color), 30" ground stake, 60" center pole and ground spacer (green color). Very simple to set up. Yes, this is really a hydroponic system using coconut coir and our concentrated organic fertilizer. I can sell you enough coir to fill the pots for $25 and a gallon of our "Total" fertilizer for $19.95. Send me an e-mail at dave@greenideainc.com and I'll reply with more detail and Pictures. Thanks. Dave

I did do the pond myself. I've done several and this one was done on limited space so the waterfall setup is different than any of the others I have done (Usually they look like mountain streams).
Well I have several sources of water, 3 bird baths and our waterfall in our pond. Never had this problem before. I have always had hummers. Just wondering if the winter weather we had messed them up. Oh well maybe next year.
Clare, your Pinky Winky is beautiful - love the blooms and the pink coloring of the branches too. My paniculatas Pee Gee and Limelight are already blooming too, about a month ahead of schedule! Now I am wondering whether I should have done reshaping…
Diane, sorry for not making my message more clear - my reminder was about those shrubs that need to be scaled down and in my region (zones 5 & 6) the buds for the next season form on new growth in August so cutting the brunches after July would have…
Crazy rainstorm last night, ripped down half the ivy on the wall. Had to cut it down, so I figured what the heck I'll collect snails in my garden. Armed with chopsticks (they make it way easy to gather up tiny guys under plants if you are profficent…
Sheryl, that shouldn't be a problem, I have a seed feeder in close proximity and the humming birds seem happy enough to share. They just seem to perch on the tiny twigs where the big guys cant get to. Chech the surronding territory, perhaps someone…
