You ladies are making me so glad that my 2 boys are only 9 and 11 -- I started late. :) I'm hoping to keep them as sweet in their teens as they are now! All the while training them, of course, on how to be self-sufficient!
I'm trying some yellow jubilees. I've got 5 started and will post a picture as soon as they start changing color. Right now, the look like regular green tomatoes.

I think you need to amend your soil and rotate your crops. A little "kitchen compost" helps. Cucumbers and tomatoes need calcium to ruit well. Save, rinse and crush egg shells into a container and mix it with your soil. Makes for some great tasting…

- I'm a new gardener/composter and I'm having good luck this year! I'm excited to learn any tips veteran gardeners are willing to share. So far this year, we've had luck with cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, bannana peppers, and now have some corn ears forming. Very pleased with how it's going -- even learning how to can!

Well I have several sources of water, 3 bird baths and our waterfall in our pond. Never had this problem before. I have always had hummers. Just wondering if the winter weather we had messed them up. Oh well maybe next year.
