if only you had a female and male you could develope a trend with white squirells and then you would be the gardener on t.v. with that funny gardner guy from OK.
I might have but it was not even my intention. I got in trouble from GI so it's going to be hard to post anything on here anymore. Too nervous now! Thank you
Hi Bonnie! you make friend number 6. The more the merrier and thank you for the invite.
What part of the country are you in? I am in a suburb of hot and humid Houston, TX.
Well, mine are in bloom right now. Wish the flower lasted longer. They are so awesome! This winter was the first critter damage I sustained on them. I had a vole invasion. Mostly my own fault cause I cleared a portion of my woods of all the leaf litter to make more garden (just what I need-DUH). Other than that, it is mostly winter kill on the top. I've tried in previous years to burlap wrap them but still had winter kill damage. I'm gonna try one more winter by making wire cages and filling with leaves. Otherwise I may part with them. It is just too brutal in winter up here. Not much survives up here. I need to move further south but would miss my wonderful environment I've created here over the years. Just love your plants.

Sheryl, that shouldn't be a problem, I have a seed feeder in close proximity and the humming birds seem happy enough to share. They just seem to perch on the tiny twigs where the big guys cant get to. Chech the surronding territory, perhaps someone…
