I have wooded areas surrounding my property that fill in the spring with what I've been told are blue bells that the previous owner brought from England...which is where she was from. We also discovered under much growth and leaves a sunken patio with an old stone surround & steps...and hostas, ferns, and vinca. Haven't had a chance to get in and really get it in shape yet.

I would love to have a secret garden, I had planned on working on that this summer, but finances have gotten in the way, but I am hoping to get started on it this fall, at least the weather will be cooler.

I don't have a secret garden yet, but i have always dreamed of one like the movie. I doubt i will have anything that big but a secret garden is in my near future.

Thanks! We have so much fun in our back yard now. The patio and the fire pit are used frequently. The gate divides the back yard from the side vegetable garden and a play area for my grandkids.

Lydia, it sounds like you have a much bigger groundhog problem than I do! Funny thing is that our groundhog does not touch the tomatoes (although the chipmunks eat the ones that hang low on the plants). I guess that's because he is so obsessed with…

Thanks Mia and Tanya. These busy eaters will pretty much polish off all the Passion Vine leaves. Not to worry, they come back with a 'passion.'
