Found this one blooming in the flowerbed this evening. I've got some that are as tall and taller than I am.

Maggie, Thank you the apricot twist is wonderful looking. Just as good if not better then the passion peach. The Apricot looks brighter from what I remember of the Peach. Will have to see if I can order it and still get it in the ground. Thanks again.

Kristi, I've not seen Peach Passion but here is a link to one called Apricot Twist which is quite lovely:

Last season there was a peach colored sunflower, called peach passion, I wanted to plant it this year... unable to find the seed.. anyone hear of this sunflower and if so.. have you seen it out there this year? I like to plant a variety of sunflowers of all color and size. Will post pics when they are further along. Later.

well it is a really cool feeder...as I have mentioned before 99% of my sunflowers come up from my bird seed and have the best outcome. I have a 1% chance when I plant them...

Hi Elizabeth, actually it is a bird feeder. I bought it at a craft show on Signal Mountain in Tenn. It is a hollowed out log which you fill with bird seed and has a feeding station at the bottom. The birds have absolutely loved it. It also had a squirrel baffle on the bottom to prevent the squirrels from getting to the seed.

Diane, sorry for not making my message more clear - my reminder was about those shrubs that need to be scaled down and in my region (zones 5 & 6) the buds for the next season form on new growth in August so cutting the brunches after July would have…

Love this flower. Never was able to grow it though. Thought it was called queen Anns Lace. I think it adds charm to the garden.

Sheryl, that shouldn't be a problem, I have a seed feeder in close proximity and the humming birds seem happy enough to share. They just seem to perch on the tiny twigs where the big guys cant get to. Chech the surronding territory, perhaps someone…
