Yeah, not all of those trees are obviously 'small' but could be planted in the surrounding area.

Hi to all; My husband and I bought an old horse farm 15 yrs ago and I have been having a great time creating new gardens. I have found a ton of rocks, quite big under the soil. I think the old owners used them as fill years, some are from the orignal barn foundation, the barn is no longer hear. It is fun to dig to start a new spot and unearth a new treasure. I also find marbles. lots of them. I have used the stones to line the gardens. I also have alot of bricks that are from the old chimney. i think i will make a patipo like the one that was shown under the gazebo. I love the idea of the wall art also. thanks for the ideas. kathy

Diana, how heavy is it when you are finished?? Do you hang them? I would love to do some of that with some nice tiles I have but not sure how I would use them?? Inside or outside? I'm inspired!!

Well I have several sources of water, 3 bird baths and our waterfall in our pond. Never had this problem before. I have always had hummers. Just wondering if the winter weather we had messed them up. Oh well maybe next year.

Diane, sorry for not making my message more clear - my reminder was about those shrubs that need to be scaled down and in my region (zones 5 & 6) the buds for the next season form on new growth in August so cutting the brunches after July would have…

Love this flower. Never was able to grow it though. Thought it was called queen Anns Lace. I think it adds charm to the garden.

Sheryl, that shouldn't be a problem, I have a seed feeder in close proximity and the humming birds seem happy enough to share. They just seem to perch on the tiny twigs where the big guys cant get to. Chech the surronding territory, perhaps someone…
